- NO Downhill Riding When the Board is Fully Charged Due to the Regenerative Braking. We Recommend Users Ride a few Hundreds of Meters on the Flat way Before Trying Downhill Riding. Riding Downhill at Full Charge will Also Shorten the Life Span of the Battery. Also, it is dangerous. So Buyers, Be Aware
- AEboard AF has been fully resisted before receiving the goods, but once you start using or maintaining it or replacing the battery, the board's water resistance will be reduced. Water can damage the board and water damage is not covered by the warranty. Therefore, you should avoid placing the board in the water.
- Always wear a helmet and suitable safety equipment when riding an electric skateboard.
- Remember to turn off the remote and charge it when not in use to extend battery life.
It’s so fast. It is a great build and is very fun
Did not get it
I bought AF board with the extra battery a little over a year ago. Once nuts and bolts were tightened, I was riding the board daily all of last summer as a complete first time rider. Took about a week for me to get comfortable, but I can hardly stay on a normal skateboard for more than 10 seconds anyways. By the end of my first summer of daily riding going over railroad tracks and expansion joints on the bridge to Boston, there was some degradation of the ESC/Battery box. Eventually heat caused a control board short, but the folks at AE Board sent me a replacement pretty promptly. I was able to tear it down and replace it pretty easily, but at this point, most of the screwholes in the ESC/Battery box had broken their stays and were doing nothing, so I had to do some gorilla gluing to make sure it all stayed attached. Thus far I've been riding the fixed board with little incident the past few weeks; my battery packs have lost some charge, but nothing terrible- I can still get about 8-9 miles of Pro riding per battery, probably closer to 11 miles on Hi or Mid. All in all, for the price, the extra battery pack, and the decent customer support, I'd recommend this board for beginners looking to get a taste of speed and performance. There are probably better boards out in the same $ range spec-wise nowadays, but none that come with an extra battery, which isn't cheap either.
How the hell do you expect a positive feedback ? I haven’t seen a dam thin
It’s pretty damn fast. It’s a really good board. It is worth the price.
